Research Start

Our starting point is a person who kindly agreed to participate in our research. Collin is a 40-year-old man, his height is 5.83 feet (1.78 meters), and his weight is 189 lbs (85.8 kg). He will check his body composition every day with AURA Strap 2 to see the dynamics of his body changes. The most interesting thing here for us is fat loss. Yes, we’re keeping in mind that that main goal is weight loss, but we understand at the same time that we need to see Collin lose fat, not muscle. AURA Strap 2 is a great companion here, as it will help us keep track of his fat loss.

First Results

At the time of writing, the research has already passed the 3-month mark, and we've already got really impressive results. We started by checking Collin’s body fat percentage with a DEXA scan, as it's one of the most accurate ways to monitor your body composition. Collin's starting point is 24.6% of body fat, while AURA Strap 2 shows 25.9%. We'll check his final results during the final week of our research to see the final changes and compare the results with AURA Strap 2. Below, we're adding a table with the correlation of weight changes and fat amount changes in Collin's body.

As you can see, Collin is losing weight, and at the same time we’re constantly checking if he’s losing only fat, not muscle, in order to improve and correct his diet and workouts. As an example, you can check week #8. Here, Collin perfectly understood that he needed to improve his workouts, and after he did it, we can see that he continued to lose fat.

Summary
